Department of Chemistry and Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Dr. Patangrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya, Sangli have organized ‘Inauguration of M.Sc. Organic Chemistry and Welcome of M.Sc. I’ function. This function was conducted offline on 25th November 2022, Friday, at 11: 00 am.
The function was charmed by Prin. Dr. D. G. Kanase (President of function), Dr. B. V. Tamhankar (Chief Guest), Prof. T. R. Savant (Incharge, Arts and Commerce Faculty), Dr. A. R. Supale (Coordinator, IQAC and M.Sc.), all chemistry faculty members and PG students. On this occasion Dr. A. R. Supale gave welcome speech and introduced the Chief Guest. While addressing the audience, Dr. B. V. Tamhankar (Principal, Willingdon College, Sangli), guided students to interpret their chemistry knowledge in laboratory for practical purpose. He also advised the students regarding future career opportunities.
In the presidential address Prin. Dr. D. G. Kanase, advised students to do hard work. He assured that, students will get all kind of academic and administrative support to achieve excellence in the field of chemistry. He welcomed all M.Sc. first year students and offer best wishes for their future life. Finally, Dr. A. M. Sargar concluded the function by offering the vote of thanks.

Competition-2022
Report
With
the theme of “Chemistry of Fabrics”, a poster presentation competition for the
B.Sc. and M.Sc. students was held on 19th October 2022 by the
Department of Chemistry & IQAC of college. The event inaugurated by Prin.
Dr. D. G. Kanase. In inaugural speech, Principal Sir highlighted the main
objective of this competition. Principal Sir and
other dignitaries of the day reviewed each poster and taught the extra
knowledge with pleasure and enthusiasm.
The
students participated, showed positive involvement and smoothly defended their
posters in front of the Judges viz.
Dr. A. M. Sargar and Dr. R. N. Deshmukh of our college. The overall event was
successful and admired in the college. It stood to be beneficial to memorize
& update the chemistry of various fabrics. The whole event was organized in
the supervision of Dr. A. R. Supale (Co-ordinator, IQAC) and Dr. T. R. Lohar
(Convener).
The
total 90 students from B.Sc. (U.G. category) and (P.G. category) have been
participated and presented posters on competition theme. The total 08 prizes were
declared.
